The majority of Elizabeth’s career has been devoted to health care litigation. Her prior experience as a Registered Nurse assisted her to become a skilled and successful litigator. For nearly two decades, she has defended physicians, practice groups, and hospitals facing claims of medical negligence and wrongful death. She has also represented providers during investigations by various professional boards, and she has argued matters before the Tennessee Court of Appeals.
She completed the American Bar Association’s National Trial Academy in Tort Trial and Insurance Practice in 2015, where she excelled and received high remarks. She was recognized by Super Lawyers as a Rising Star in 2018. She has been invited to speak to the legal community regarding issues relevant to health care litigation, and she has been involved in teaching medical malpractice, depositions, and the legal process to the medical students of ETSU’s Quillen College of Medicine. Additionally, she has served as a representative of the Tennessee Bar Association for the First Judicial District on the House of Delegates Since 2014.

Over the years, she and her husband have developed a legal team that provides excellent legal representation while also considering each client’s personal and professional challenges that often accompany the demands of litigation.
